The apartments are very small; and the space is sheared outside. Therefore; a public street is created inside. Its getting intense as we climb up the building.

"Similarity"; a group of people occupied in the same field, creating a community.
The individual is separated from the society; becoming more and more privet; as we elevate in the building.

The project is in the heart of the city of Paris, the main goal of planning, was creating low income residents for young postman.

It is located in a gap between two buildings: a narrow strip of land, squeezed into a block of late 19th century apartment buildings.
This empty space includes the open staircase which protrudes at the back of the building and also serves as a communication area to the city.

One of the qualities of this structure is its ability to provide day light and open space' to all residents, as well as an optional social life.

The façade is equipped with sliding aluminum panels which provide privacy, and at the same time create a lively pattern changing with the time of day, and with the habits of the tenants.

This phenomenon in the fabric of Paris urbanism is unique. Although it is a low income project, it provides good living conditions. It also contributes to its environment, by "expending the street".

Body

The body is changing as you climb up the building. Superposition can emphasize the idea:
The higher you rise, the body is more privet.

Building

The building is situated in a way, which allow the connection between the street and the sky, inside itself.

City

The original block (in white) is completely closed to the street. The project is opening it's block , by connecting itself to the privet spaces and yareds, as well as to the main street.

Environment

Vertical and Horizontal: balcony, stairs and footprint- the structure is influencing it's environment as well as absorbing it inside.

Technology

The facade is constructed from aluminium panels, which can be customized by the tendents.

appearance of the building as wall as controlling the exposure of the tenant to the street.
